Volunteer Positions are needed for:

Athlete Goodie Bag Creation

20 Volunteers are needed.
About ten days before the race, we will put together the athlete goodie bags that will be needed for the athletes during the designated packet pickup schedule. This is a great opportunity for Cross Country Teams, Boy / Girl Scouts and other youth based groups.

Athelte Packet Pickup

10 Volunteers are needed.
On Tuesday through Saturday before the event, Volunteers are needed to assist the staff in distributing athlete goodie bags, bib #'s and registering new athletes for the event. Great opportunity for stay home moms/dads, adult service organizations or running/walking clubs.

Elite Athlete Ambassadors

15 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers will be assisting with Elite athlete needs such as being picked up or dropped off from the Airport, to / from the VIP Dinner or too the race site. Great opportunity for local athletes to welcome the rest of the world to Columbus.

Start Line Area

30 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers will assist with race day setup and tear down of the start line area along with being race ambassadors to the athletes, spectators and partners that need assistance. Great opportunity for teams and clubs.

Aid Stations

12 Aid Stations need 15 people per aid station (20-30 for aid stations 4, 8 & 12)
These volunteers will be working the aid stations on race day assisting with getting the athletes their water, energy drink, sponges, oranges or general assistance. Great for large groups and clubs to work as a team!

Race Course Road Marshals

30 Volunteers are needed.
The course marshals work different intersections or places on the course assisting the police or athletes with helping to create a safe and efficient race. Great opportunity for adults and athlete not able to participate.

Race Course Setup Volunteers

15 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers will assist the Run Wild Racing staff to ensure the course is properly setup and torn down in a timely manner.

Race Course Aid Station Setup Volunteers

15 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers will assist the Run Wild Racing Staff with setting up and tearing down the aid stations on the course.

Finish Line Volunteers

40 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers assist with the setup and teardown of the finish line area and help to ensure the finish line runs smoothly during the event.

Post Race Food Volunteers

20 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers assist with getting the post race food area ready for the athletes prior to their arrival through the finish line chutes. They will also assist during the race with replenishing the food and drinks.

Clean Up Volunteers

40 Volunteers are needed.
These volunteers will follow the race progression from the start to the finish making sure the race course and areas are as clean if not cleaner than before we found it.
